When the Stars Go Blue

Ryan Adams fans are still living in a world where if someone says they listen to Coldplay then everyone else is supposed to laugh before anyone points out that most of their favorite Ryan Adams songs sound exactly like the first Coldplay album. But one is being literally shipped and marketed to you as being really cool and edgy and look at this drunk guy falling around stage with some weird emo haircut and a jean jacket versus like these clean cut dudes whatever. There wasn't anywhere for millions of people to come unglued on him. I don't know how I don't not understand how he got away with doing this.
