Forty millions in the united states of america can tie their family back to at least the 18 hundreds who were under the weight and burden and terror of enslavement. So it's a lineage base claim, not an ethnic claim, not a racial claim. It's a specific harm, specific harms, that happen to a line of a descendants of families currently alive in the United States.
