The Effect of Immigration on the Economy
Last year was two, sorry, 560,000. That did include quite a lot of EU nationals who were feeling pushed by heartbreak so they just don't want to be here anymore. But also increasing numbers of British nationals with young families because of the pressures financially on family life and cost of childcare. Immigration actually did peak in 2005 when the economy was booming everywhere. And then it really dipped when the economy went down the panel in 2008. It's going up quite rapidly now.
