The Importance of Strength Training After 60

We're losing 1-2% of our muscle strength every year if we're not doing something about it. Once we reach a certain point in the 80s, it gets a lot harder to gain lean muscle mass. Eating adequate protein to feed and fuel those muscles is two. After 60, lady, you better get with it. Lift to muscular fatigue. And then starting at age 50, remember, we're fighting natural tendency to lose 3-day percent of muscle every decade.
