The Variability of Resting Heart Rates
While spreadicardia is generally considered to be a heart rate of about less than 60 beats per minute, there's huge variability in resting heart rates between individuals. Age, sex, sleep, BMI and even time of the year can have an effect on people with bradicardia. A cohort study by Quir et al which was published in plus one in 2020 found mean resting heart rate was 65 but range was 40 to 109.
