Maurice Moss heard a strange noise coming from his lavender field. He found an egg-shaped vehicle with two small boys standing near it. The creatures had abnormally large and bald heads, no lips, pointed chains, pale skin, and small hands. They stared at Moss for about a minute, communicating with one another by low guttural grunts. A door then slid open across the craft, and the two mysterious creatures disappeared into it. After the door closed, the craft took off into the sky and out of Moss's sight.
