When we exist in a world that gives privileges to some of us, that world is frictionless. So the sort of men i'm talking to, middle class white men, albeit gay, live in a world of of not very much challenge. And so then suddenly you're presenting this complexity to themoh, you've said something, or you've behaved in a way that's not cool, and that's friction.
