My Dad's Emigration Story
My dad brings out a boulder stuffed with papers as well as a blue plastic box. They're filled with photos, letters and documents that tell his emigration story. Pictures from romania, italy and his early years in saskaton. The passport italy gave him any letter he ever received from the canadian government. His first saskatchewin drivers license was torn around the edges and held together with tape. Was one of the few things he carried across the border.
