The Divine Comedy of Dante
Dante's work is about returning to the ever-present origin, and it's from that return that true originality and life springs. William Blake realized if there weren't divine sources to all creativity, creativity itself would quickly fall into what he called the same dull round. Dante also distinctive in the journey he conveys and this lends the sense that it's happened even though our expectations were really quite disturbing.
