General Relativity Breaks Down in Cauchy Horizons
General relativity only breaks down in the case where curvature scalars diverge. But there's another totally different sense in which general relativity can break down, which is Cauchy Horizons. In something like Sagittarius A star, that Cauchy horizon does not occur in a high-energy regime in a normal curve space-time. And so this argument that I've given that we should expect general relativity to be broken down in the presence of large curvature Scalars doesn't apply there.
