Brian Lighter: The image of the Ubermensch has dominated popular perception of Nietzsche for a very long time now. He says that's all baloney, and only appears in one book out of his dozen or so books. And he explains why this image might have played such a large role in Zarathustra - because it was written as a parody of the New Testament.
