Cameron James' Dyslexia Letter to the Superintendent of the Upper Arlington Schools

Dyslexia is hereditary. Scientists estimate that if just one parent has dyslexia, their child has a 40% chance of having it too. Cameron James and his wife tried to get the Upper Arlington schools to help their son Joe with his dyslexia. Their case was at first dismissed on a technical issue about whether they could seek reimbursement. Federal law requires public schools to provide children with disabilities a free and appropriate education.
