What Does All This Talk Mean for the Stock Market?
Jim Cevallos: The stock market is not cheap by any stretch of the imagination. He says if you look at forward PE ratios, it's 18.5 on the S&P and 15 or 17 for two years out. But he says high yield could run into trouble later this year as investors realize inflation will hurt them in a downturn. "It's not as easy as it was a year ago" to make money from fixed-income investments,Cevallos says.
