Is Infinity Real?

In physics, we're often seeing infinities in the final answer as a sign of failure. In particle physics, prediction of infinity is unphysical. We hide them under renormalization, whatever possible. Is infinity real? Is it part of our minds? Such a great, deep question. I've been thinking about this for 40, 50 years. And I still don't really know what the answer is.
