How to Use Echo to Have an Awareness of Your Environment

The room is used to record the equineness of objects in different positions relative to a dummy head and some microphones at these sort of pretend ears. We then use those recordings to play them back to people sat in a more conventional sound-treated booth. Then we can manipulate the sounds in some fairly sophisticated ways to try and figure out how their brain is processing them. If you were suddenly transported from your office into here and you couldn't see, then you'd know about it. I suppose this is the auditory equivalent of a blank canvas.
