The Dopamine Deficit State
We are all subject to this and i think if i surveyed my friends there are lots of people who are on the receiving end of this. After a while we can kind of get stuck in that dopamine deficit state which usually manifests as dissatisfaction with our lives. It's very difficult to observe this kind of de-cuffecting or withdrawing from the world because it makes everything else in our lives seem less than. We might actually look to what is it that i'm ingesting on a regular basis that is pinging my reward system such that my brain has to compensate by down-regulating my own feel-good neurotransmitters and hormones.
