The process of making a silhouette could take several times over. Halston would create these amazing sculpted fabric pieces which were design dresses out of cloth. And it was extraordinary to see how he would go through that process. It was very quiet and he would move very silently through it. A little almost like a surgeon, pins, needles, cut, stuff like that,. but it was amazing.
