Covid has laid bare the inequalities that's what i take from the last chapter. We think we've come so far and the uk thinks of itself as a superpower for many centuries due to some really abhorrent things actually. It wasn't just this one epidemic it was covid kind of breeding on the pre-existing inequality and really kind of thriving on that. So you know it's not just about developing new medicines it's also about dealing with these social problems that made the pandemic so much worse than it needed to be.
