The Eucharist and the Nestorian Heresy

The term symbiosis makes it seem like Christ's human and divine natures are two entirely different entities that just mutually benefit each other. The Eucharist does not prioritize Christ's physical body over his spiritual divinity, says the Catechism. Jesus did not have to die to make God love us, because God sent his son to die for us because he already loved us. But the crucifixion did affect God in that it broke down the dividing wall between sinful humanity and an all-holy God.
