Do Not Grieve the Holy Spirit of God

verse 30: Do not grieve the holy spirit of god, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Verse 31: Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you along with all malice. He's really getting at here, is that so offence and jealousy and envy and strife are going to create disunity in the body. And so instead, love each other, build that foundation of love, so that when you have to tell the truth to each other, you can do it in love.
