On September 13th, 2022, Twitter convened a special meeting of the stockholders of Twitter. There were 765 million outstanding shares that were entitled to vote. The holders of 459 million of those shares were present either in person or by proxy. Of that, the vote was overwhelmingly in favor of adopting the merger agreement.
