The Tradition of an Empty Tomb
Jesus's associates could draw on pre-existing ideas within the Jewish tradition about righteous masses being raised back to life. They were able to interpret these experiences or visions of a post-mortem Jesus that James mentioned so Jesus's associates could use this as evidence for resurrection. The whole tradition about an empty tomb is an interesting one and I think we're quite I think ambivalent or agnostic perhaps on on you know from a critical historical point of view what we can say with confidence about it.
