Spookes is based on an early script treatment by charlotte perkins gilman. The movie was filmed at the ancestral home of john ja, one of the us Founding fathers and author of federalist papers. Could this be interpreted as containing any federalist propaganda? I couldn't really make that work. Butbut anywayso we'll keep seeing.
