The Implications of Daylight Saving Time

Lebanon was straddling two time zones for a couple of days this week. Government decided to delay daylight savings until late April because Ramadan falls in March and April. This means that Muslims observing Ramadan would have to wait an additional hour before they're able to break fast. Why is this such a topic still after hundreds of years? We have technology now to tell us what time it is, really. I'm very anti the moving the clocks. And I will tell you that one time zone all year round.
