The Benefits of Diversification in Ancient Greek Estate Management

Diversification that we see in ancient Greek estate management actually could follow a profit and long term wealth oriented strategy. So, looking at these diversified estates, what I saw was in almost every case where they, the owners tried to acquire new properties. There was always a profitable sort of outcome for that or a profit oriented motivation for that. And this is different from the risk of reverse or risk minimizing motivation that's usually been argued for the ancient world. Now the other thing that we see is long term wealth maximization that is made possible through avoiding taxes.
