The Role of Cardiac MR in the Diagnosis of Cardiomyopathy
Late get aluminum enhancement or LGE is commonly seen at the RV septal insertion sites. Fabric disease is a rare, excellent lysosomal storage disorder that is characterized by deficiency of alpha-collectosidase enzyme. Cardiac MRI findings include concentric left ventricular hypertrophy which is important for early detection of cardiac involvement and assessment of treatment eligibility.
