The last two years have been just remarkably hard on a lot of pastors and church leaders. And i felt like all o those pain points were being amplified, right? They al they've always existed, ever since the world became a fallen place. But, ah, i think people's anxiety levels, a relational hostility, a social upheaval, loneliness, isolation, all these things just sort of reached a fever pitch. So yes, that's how the book was born.
