Empire

Empire uses the same syntax as go for initializing variables, I believe. It also initializes maybe a signs and checks. But it looks like it lets you let you assign a value to a variable in the middle of another expression - which is kind of a weird thing to do. If anybody's interested in checking it out or reaching out to us, I don't know if Alan got our Twitter or GitHub on on the invite there. Maybe we could share those.
