Robert Yates Jr. was one of the prime suspects in a string of prostitute murders. Police seized his old Corvette as their best chance of finding enough evidence to break the case. The car had been owned by someone else for years, but police found blood on it and an oddly shaped mother-of-pearl button that matched Jennifer Joseph's blouse.
