The Prefrontal Cortex Is the Last Part of the Brain to Develop

The pre frontal cortex is the last part of the brain to mature. Unlike the visual system, which is pretty much on line. The prefrontal cortex wasi in charge of higher level decision making. It seems to be maturing well into your twenties, albeit at a slowing rate. But i think that is really fundamentally different than it has been.
