Eating Too Little Protein Per Day or Too Late?

I aim for one gram of protein per pound of body weight every day, split into three servings. I try to eat my last meal of the day at least two hours before I'm asleep. There does seem to be research on whether or not people in hunter-gatherer cultures experienced menopause. It is in the anthropological literature, but it's not super well researched.
