Part of the way people articulate the meaning crisis is there's so much bullshed. We are separating relevance and salients from truth, i think this is part of what matters to socrates. And so if you're an american, you get this rush. That rush is these are all salient things. They're highly relevant to you. You associate and identify with them. Now, why does bullshed matter? Well, as i said at the beginning, it seems to be increasing. But here's what i would argue, you can bulshet yourself. Why? Cause lying has to do with believing. Here i'll show you.
