How to Avoid a Far Column in a Conference

I find the happy hour conversations are really hard because super loud so you're like what's your name where are you from as you end up yelling at each other. I do all of my networking with my energy is the highest first thing in the day and then at five o'clock when everyone else goes to the happy hour I go take a bath these are things that drain me. My goal here is that when you're at an event you know exactly how to avoid a far column and how to go towards the first column. If there are people who are like mmm sometimes I'm my good self around them but sometimes they're my worst self middle if they're like well some happy hours
