The soldiers were angry for they had no money with which to procure provisions. An exibius tells them, do you have to go to a place called the Kearsanese? And it's hostile territory. So he promised to pay them, right? He would not give them pay, continue on. But he made proclamation that the troops were to take their arms and baggage and go forth from the city.
