The Best Dracula Movies of All Time
Bela Lugosi is problematic because it's very hard from this distance to see why it had that effect, except in a sort of Valentino way. The Spanish language one is a much better film. And I feel, obviously everyone feels sorry for the ghost. You can see from son of Frankenstein how good he was, but he was rarely given the chance. He's just not in the same league as Karloff.
