I think one of the biggest things that networks prevent besides curse words and showing your breasts is development. So many sitcom characters end up playing the same version of themselves in various scenarios. I feel as though so much of what this show is about, is about seeing these girls off into their adulthood. The ideal finale to the show would be a feeling like, you know, they don't have kids,. They don't have husbands, but you look at them and you kind of go, they're on their way.
