Cleopatra is one of those famous names for antiquity that still has immediate recognition. She sees Caesar as a counterweight to her brother, Ptolemy the 14th. They get on incredibly well and soon Cleopatra will be pregnant with a son. The story is such a good one in that you have her being smuggled into the palace where he's staying.
