How to Protect Your Skin From the Sun

The typical recommendation is to apply between, and usually as a dermatologist, we say an SPF 30 or higher. And for example, if you're covering your face and neck, it would be about a quarter to a half a teaspoon required. Most people don't put on a foundation as they would a sunscreen with a thick layer. In fact, there was some research that looked that you'd actually have to apply like five to 10 times the amount of foundation to get that level of SPF.
