Geothermal has been around for 100 years, but despite many predictions of its coming soon, so to speak, it never really made it. There's a brief period of building in the 70s and 80s, and then a plateaued off again. But what we think we're going to be able to achieve is to finally make geothermal scalable - which was the main problem before.
