In 2021, a total clown car of an anti-Neniyahu coalition formed a government. It came together because Naftali Bennett, who was a settler leader, he led the settler council at one point. He made a very surprising decision to break with the right wing block and oppose Netanyahu. Part of what happened was that he wanted a reward for his courage.
