The Importance of Being a Good Role Model
I didn't resent the man of the house thing. I enjoyed when I was able to be a good role model for my brothers and sisters. When he was gone, it was great. We loved that he wasn't home most of the time. And when he would come home, everyone would get a little bit less happy. It was just a terrible role model and also no comfort at all. Just the opposite upsetting.
