What Are the Special Economic Zones?
Special economic zones are small, privately operated business parks that are usually run by one of two types of companies. The small ones are a family owned business, and there's some large franchises or conglomerates that might run like, 50 zones across the region. On paper, the incentives that theyhave are quite weak. But in practice, what the guy who ran the zone explained to me is that the regulators take a very case by case basis tou regulating the economy.
