I think human beings will handle these changes fine. A bit of a shake up sometimes helps innovation, gets incumbrants out of the way and gets new business models to come forward. We forget that societyis a bottom up process. It doesn't need to be told by nanny what to do every ten minutes. I'm all for them holding the ring in terms of insuring that that people do fair dealing and all that kind of thing. But i do worry when they say right in the next generation. These are the technologies we want, and these are the ones we don't want. And if some one reads your books in order ther their i c or however you measure intelligence
