The Payola of the Venues
I've been going to shows for 40, 40 something years. I don't understand. How are the bootleggers getting away with being right at the fucking front doors of the venues now? We have to get a restraining order, a proper injunction. Then we have to hire either off-duty cops or marshals. It's more like on some tours, if we are very aggressive, we have 30 or 40 bootleg security out. They're out there, but they're just not like flies. As we say good night to our customer, they're going to meet them again. And I'm glad that I have a little role to play in it.
