The Pine of Persecusion

Punishment counts as not just physical attack, but also the rational fear that it may happen. Jesus first of all suffered persecution bodily in his life from when he was a small child to his death on the cross. If we don't suffer something uncomfortable, some sort of harassment or ostracization, we're ridiculed. There's something where we're not considered quite up to snuff. Then we should ask ourselves, am I really a good follower of Jesus?
