The Final Two: A Less Interesting Final Tribal Than a Final Two
I think it's just that folks find that a final three leads to a less interesting final tribal than a final two. I just don't see any evidence of that. And maybe I'm missing it. Having to beat two people is more complicated than having to beat one person. An additional person makes it much more unlikely that both players will be seen as having done nothing. You could obviously still have a blowout vote. If the jury all agree that one player dominated, but a blow out vote is not evidence that a final two would have been better. That's where I gets a little troubled with the logic that it's less interesting.
