I went around the country, that was my methodology, and i interviewed people all over america who were going out on their own as free lancers, elancers, a small proprietors. And what i found was not so much an economic story, but really a psychology story. I actually think that your son is expressing human nature, and that our nature gets beaten out of us by institutions and circumstances. It's like the sinfeld episode about he with the coffee table book, about cacontee, where you strike out on your own.
