Hypertonic Saline or Manatol for Lowering ICP?
One of the favorites I've seen at least in the ERs recently is the Hypertonic saline. And then additionally always is with sedation and paralysis or and then hyperventilation are all good ways to help manage lower, help lower the ICP. The standard patient isolated head injury, I think it's either one dealer's choice, manatol,. Usually at one gram per kilogram is fine, Hypertoned saline is fine.
