The Role of Rotation in Exploratory Factor Analysis
The three classes of rotations that are typically used in ESEM. Geo-min tends to be pretty popular, but then you could also use something that is more targeted. You can even have and should have an orthogonal rotation for certain types of models. Patrick: I love bi-factor models. We did a paper a while ago where we had eight indicators of substance use involvement. Four were alcohol use, and then another four were different types of illicit drugs.
