Today's guest is Elizabeth Kraft, Vice President Academic and Provost of the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. She has a PhD in robotics from the University of Toronto and was Dean of Engineering at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. We don't really have any good ideas of what to expect and when. Even if your interest in AI is purely disembodied there is considerable reason to think that generally intelligent AI depends upon an understanding of our physical world only gained by embodiment.
